STEFAN-IONEL DUMITRESCU was founded in Bucharest as a studio for pieces that behave like evening wear but wear like knitwear. We design ruffled knit tops, bell sleeves and bias-cut dresses that hold their shape through a long dinner, in fabrics picked for drape first and sheen second. Every sample is worn out before it is signed off.
The collection is intentionally small. We cut a limited run, keep the pattern, and only re-cut if the piece still feels right a season later. Working this way means we can adjust a shoulder or lower a neckline by two centimetres when customer feedback asks for it, instead of waiting for a factory minimum to justify the change.
Orders ship from Romania within one to two business days, protected in tissue and a recyclable outer. Our returns policy is straightforward: thirty days with us, fourteen under the EU withdrawal right. If a size is uncertain, send your measurements and we will tell you honestly which one we would choose for ourselves.
